You might be asking yourself, “Delta 8 THC exactly what is it, and where can I buy it?”. Well, I have some answers for you.
I have been very curious about this “new-age” THC, there are the Delta 8 and Delta 10 strains, and I will explain the differences here. I have to rely upon news articles and consumer reviews as I live in a state that has banned the sale of all synthetic Delta products. So unfortunately I cannot give you a first-hand experience with these products.
I decided to cover both Delat 8 and 10 in the same article to save redundant reading. After doing some research, I found that they are both processed similarly and have similar yet different cannabinoids that are found in the hemp plant. I figured I would kill two birds with one stone as they used to say.
According to the 2018 Farm Bill, all cannabinoids found in Hemp aside from Delta 9 THC are legal in all 50 states. Many of these cannabinoids are psychoactive, and there are different intoxicating versions of THC (called isomers), like Delta-8-THC or Delta-10-THC, which have the same chemical genetics as Delta-9-THC but with slightly rearranged molecules. Chemists can invent even more types of cannabinoids synthetically in a lab.
Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as delta-8 THC, is a psychoactive substance found in the Cannabis sativa plant, of which marijuana and hemp are two varieties. Delta-8 THC is one of over 100 cannabinoids produced naturally by the cannabis plant but is not found in significant amounts in the cannabis plant. As a result, concentrated amounts of delta-8 THC are typically manufactured from hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD).t.
US Food and Drug Administration, https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/5-things-know-about-delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol-delta-8-thc, web.fda.gov9/14/2021
They are both natural cannabinoids found in CBD Hemp plants, and they are both found in small amounts. They can be extracted much the same as their cousin, Delta 9 THC found in the marijuana plant. The highs are similar to indica and sativa Delta 9 THC’s but are less intense.
They both get you a high or buzz much like Delta 9 THC, only legal, in a gray area type of way. This gray area means that they are not directly mentioned in the Farm Bill that was passed. They are compounds found in the hemp plant and the use of the entire hemp plant and all of its compounds is what was passed in the Farm Bill that was backed by Senator Mitch McConnell.
A Little About Chill Delta 8
Delta 8 can be compared to the indica strain of the Delta 9 THC found in marijuana, having a calming and relaxing effect. I generally prefer the indica strain of marijuana, as I am slightly hyperactive, and I have a high-stress job.
I am a line cook (short order cook) and keeping up with the ticket times, food quality, and timing with other cooks can get highly stressful, to say the least. Currently, I am cooking breakfast, which is a much faster pace than lunch or dinner, when our sales hit $10,000 for the day, that is a lot of eggs and pancakes as you can imagine.
Winding down after a shift like that is essential but not always easily done. That is why I rely on CBD and marijuana. Some cooks drink their shifts away, but I do not care for alcohol as much, I would prefer to take a strong dose of CBD and smoke a bowl of weed or a joint. For me, that is the perfect way to end the day.
If you have had a stressful day this could be the perfect wind down for you too.
Funny fact: Delta-8 is often called “marijuana-lite” or “diet weed.” Other common THC side effects such as paranoia, anxiety, and drowsiness are also less severe. So enjoy a relaxing evening with a little Delta 8 THC.
A Little About Chill Delta 10
The sativa-related cannabinoid of the marijuana plant also has a mirror cousin called Delta 10. This strain is more of an uplifting high, some say energetic.
When I consume or smoke sativa strains, I generally have a productive afternoon whether I am working, writing an article, drawing, or even cleaning the house. I find that the Sativa strain offers more mental clarity and creativity to go along with some much-needed pain relief.
If you want to try THC but don’t necessarily want to be too relaxed and sleepy, Delta 10 could be exactly what you have been looking for.
Each person is affected differently by THC, it is all about experimenting until you find the right combination for you, if it is even for you.
Are Delta 8 and Delta 10 Safe
There is a lack of research and scientific evidence when it comes to how Delta-8 can affect your overall health. A lot of people have reported (via social media posts) that they have used Delta-8 along with their prescription medications to help with depression and substance abuse, and some say Delta-8 can also help with:
- Calming nausea
- Boost appetite
- Ease pain relief
- Boost mental health
- Prevent vomiting during cancer treatments
Experts say that these benefits are word of mouth and therefore lack research on how Delta 8 and 10 affect your health. Just because it is easily obtainable, doesn’t mean there are no risks.
As with any supplement, you should follow the directions on the bottle and do not take more than the recommended amount. This is the safest way to use any product that claims a high of any kind upfront.
In general, I would say that, yes this product is safe when used as suggested. Every product on the market including aspirin can be dangerous if taken wrong or in high doses. The FDA has had some reports of misuse, leading to consumer issues, but on average people have been enjoying Delta 8 and Delta 10 THC products without issue.
As I said earlier, I am in a state that has banned the sale of the Delta 8 and 10 products, so my article is based on news and consumer reviews. The only personal experiences that I could relate to are what the Delta 9 indica and sativa strains do for me.
Will I Fail A Drug Test Using Delta 8 or 10
The answer to this is a complicated yes, you will fail a drug test using either Delta 8 or 10. While these two cannabinoids are not Delta 9 THC, they are related and share a lot of similar molecules. These molecules will make the drug test give a false positive for Delta 9 THC.
If you are considering trying Delta 8 or 10 products, before taking them consult with your employer. Some employers overlook the failed tests after consultation, and others prefer you to not take them.
Where To Get Delta 8 and 10 Products
The CBD Mall is the absolute best place to buy your Delta 8 and 10 products. You can choose from a variety of different products from vape pens and cartridges to gummies and oils. It is all up to you and what suits your lifestyle.
Why the CBD Mall, it is simple actually. The CBD Mall is your one-stop-shop for all your favorite top quality and number one brand of CBD and Delta products desires at the lowest prices.
Some states have banned the sale of these synthetic THC products, if you live in one, you will not be able to place your order with Diamond or the CBD Mall. They simply will not allow the transaction, which is awesome in my opinion. You don’t have to go through the whole refund deal.
Here is a current list of states banning the sale of Delat 8, this list changes often, so if your state has changed its stance let us know in the comments.
States that have banned delta-8 include:
- Alaska
- Arizona
- Arkansas
- Colorado
- Delaware
- Kentucky
- Idaho
- Iowa
- Mississippi
- Montana
- New York
- Rhode Island
- Utah
- Vermont
- Washington
I hope I have answered some questions about the Delta THC products that are available. As always, thank you for stopping by my website and reading my review on Delta 8 THC.

I read your article but I’m still a little confused. Can you please explain what it is and how it can benefit me in the long run. Your article looks very presentable. What theme did you use? It looks very nice. I will be sure to wait for your feedback. Thank you in advance for your help. I appreciate it

Daniel,
First off I would like to apologize for the incomplete information in this article the day you came accross it. I had started writing it and a pressing issue came up. I meant to hit save to finish it later, but accidentally hit publish instead.
I have since finished the article and it now contains a lot more information.
I will gladly answer your questions here though. Delta 8 and 10 are pretty much synthetic forms of Delta 9 THC, which is the compound in marijuana that gets you high. These products will get you high but it is a less intense high from marijuana. Some people say that there are health benefits such as anxiety and pain relief, and some say that the Delta 10 aids in focus and mental clarity.
Now of course as with all products relating to hemp, there are no scientific evidence to back up any of the consumer claims. This is an area I would love to see some data in, as would many others.
Thank you for the compliments on my site appearance as well, I am using the MiniGrid theme by DNA, I just fell in love with it.
Also, thank you for visiting my site and reading my review on the Delta 8 and 10 products. I hope I have answered all of your questions.

So basically we talking about cannabis drug? If I understand you correctly, the delta 8 helps people that are overwhelmed with stress and need something to relax. While the Delta 10 is there to give you more energy to do more tasks when you are out of energy? Am I correct or did I misinterpreted them both? Will appreciate the assistance.

Bernard,
I can totally understand the confusion when it comes to these products, they sent me into such a research mode. I have been using marijuana for years and began using CBD about a year after it hit the market and had not heard of these different THC compounds.
But yes essentially that is the claim of the products. The Delta 8 THC products are made for relaxing (indica) and the Delta 10 THC products are more for energy (sativa).
I unfortunately livein one of the states that it is banned so I cannot try them to let you know what I truly think of them.
I am hoping that anyone that tries them will visit my site and drop us all a mini review on their opinion.
Thanks for visiting my site, I hope I have answered your questions.
